HANNEY DESIGNS
ABOUT
Hailey Hanney is a designer with a background in architecture, retail environments, and project management. She recently completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Architectural Science) through Curtin University via Open Universities Australia (OUA), graduating with High Distinction, and will commence her Master of Architecture in 2026.

As the founder of Hanney Designs, Hailey collaborates with shopfitters, builders, and brands to create spaces that balance creativity, functionality, and precision. Her portfolio spans boutique retail fitouts, workplace interiors, and commercial refurbishments, each project reflecting a strong understanding of brand identity and human experience.

Hailey’s diverse professional background includes ten years at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) managing national audit projects, and five years in real estate, where she built a strong foundation in property, construction, and client relations. This combination of analytical and creative expertise underpins her approach to design — grounded in practicality and driven by innovation.

In 2024, Hailey was awarded a New Colombo Plan Scholarship, completing a 10-week architectural internship at Riyan Private Limited in Malé, Maldives. Working on resort and cultural developments abroad deepened her interest in climate-responsive and community-centred architecture, while living and working in a cross-cultural context strengthened her appreciation for adaptive and inclusive design.

Beyond design, Hailey is an avid runner, diver, and mother of two, continually exploring how creativity and adventure intersect. Whether developing a retail concept, running ultra marathons, or studying sustainable design practices, she brings the same curiosity, discipline, and enthusiasm to everything she does.
